what is a joke is the fact that u got scared and backed off... did yall kick it from a 40 roll, 20 roll, 60 roll...?? if he started in 3rd from a 40 roll then any car is going to pull 3-5 cars on a turbo tc, you should be able to do this to most 4cyl cars. i guarntee that if you gave it about 5 more seconds he woulda gained those 3 cars back, then another 5 seconds and he woulda been ahead of you by those 3 cars, sry dude but u cant call that a win because you didnt actually race. if yall would do some research on the t-tCs you will see that we aint no slouch. just depends on what kit you get, how well the tune is, how much boost your runnin, if you auto or manual. some get the lower hp kits and run low psi for the reliability. others choose to go big and run higher psi for better numbers. i will tell yall this though, a t-tC on just 8 psi will push around 250-280 depending on the tune but most are in the 260-270 range for the reliability. for example, im running 8psi on my stock engine with a mild tune and im at 262hp and im running 13.1-13.2 in the quarter on stock tires with HORRIBLE traction (traction is non-existant in 1st and 2nd). i will be happy to answer any and all questions, complaints, hates, raves about t-tCs that yall may have, im here to help and educate, not argue or start trouble. there is A LOT of confusion out there about the t-tCs, im just here to clear all the confusion i possibly can.

he could be runnin anywhere between 220ish and 350ish on the stock motor. although i highly doubt he is anywhere above 300 on the stock motor, unless he will turn the boost up for yalls run. if you can find out what kit he has i can tell you more.

I have a stock Scion Tc and have been reading up on them for awhile now. Most people are saying they can handle lots of power and then others are saying that u can not push over 300 on stock block. I have seen acouple people push high 3##'s on stock block and stay running so far. I have also, seen lots of people barely pushing high 2##s and blowing up. From owning a 350Z and trying to turbocharge it, I have learned that the Scion TC can probably handle 350 or more to the wheels with the right tune and componets. Alot of people don't realize u have to upgrade other things when trying to bump up a stock kit for the car. Most of the kits are only made to handle around 300rwhp and then they need some upgrading. I would say that the evo would win, but it would not be a slaugter if he's pushing around 270wrhp. I would say he would be running low 13's in the quarter which is what most evo's run stock.

im in the low-mid 13s and im only pushin about 255 to the wheels at 8psi and thats on the stock tires, not slicks, also on a conservatitve tune. i have beaten a couple of evos from a roll and only lost by a car length from a dig, but these were STOCK evos that i was racing, stock evos run around 13.1-13.2 in the 1/4 from what ive seen and according to other sources. it all depends on what kit youve got and how much psi. theres a few tCs runnin 15psi on the stock engine puttin out around 305 to the wheels with a VERY conservitative tune and hes runnin 12.1-12.2 consistantly, hes prob in the 11s now since those numbers were last years numbers. the only engines that ive seen blow so far on the tCs were due to boost spikes on poor tunes or high psi, and theres only been about 3 so far that ive heard of. ive seen more S/C blowing engines that i have turbos.

^^ to be honest i cant remember, the only thing i remember was my best 60 foot time was 2.1, but i cant get great traction with drag radials in 1st or 2nd gear, im goin to get some drag slicks this year sometime and that should help my traction problems. my best 1/4 mile time was 13.22, but again that was with little traction in 1st and 2nd gear, with my street tires on i get NO traction in 1st and 2nd gear, and best i got with street tires was 13.7. i dont have any of the timeslips, i threw them all away like i usually do lol. i will be goin to the track either this weekend or next weekend so i will post what i get then. but i will only have street tires on so im expectin high 13s. then after this trip to the track im gettin retuned and slicks, im hopin to be high 12s this year with slicks, but i will have to wait and see on that one lol. but i know of a few tcs runnin 8psi on stock motor pushin about 270-275hp and runnin slicks and they are in the low low 13s to high 12s.

from the previous runs you have had with other cars I don't think a scion is something you should have to worry about. I just don't think it's anything to sweat
