man o man this is a timely thread! just found oil all in my spark plug tube on my 92 accord! ordered that gasket! hope to put it on next weekend. anybody know any other things i should do while i have the cover off?

valve guides, gasket, tube seals, since it was boosted its possible the rings are leaking. u need to do a compression test...

oil on your spark plugs come from 2 places maily. The valve cover gasket and the sparc plug tube seals. tre valve cover i would just put some rtv on it, but the tube seals I would replace. look inside your spark plug tube ot see if the oil comes from the top or from the midle of the tube. that will narow it down.

Yeah, by valve cover gasket, i meant the valve cover gasket and the tube seals that are included with it.

If you never changed the spark plugs yourself the previous owner may have put oil on the threads to help thread the plugs in. Thats just my 2-cents I've had cars be4 where the previous owner had done this.
