That's what you usually do. Theres like a bracket and then the caliper, just remove the two bolts and pull it out. Should be simple. Sometimes, depending on the car, you could actually just remove one bolt and loosen the other and pivot the caliper.

That's what I always do - take the lower bolt out, swing up, remove pads.
