b16a in DC?
Ima PM you.
buddy had a b16 in his dc for awhile. His built b18 blew up so the b16 went in it for awhile to drive around and then we swapped a h22 in it. But to my surprise the b16 actually ran really well in the dc. Nothing like the H22 in it now.
For the lose/for the win
Anywho, I have a built b16 in my DC. Runs fine. It's far, far faster than my old LS.
Mine's built so it's quicker than a GSR, but even a stock b16a is better than an LS. I would say go for it. Having VTEC is nice. Plus, considering it's only 1.6l, you'll get slightly slightly better gas mileage.
Obviously a b18/b20 or h22 is more ideal. But let's not kid ourselves and say that a DC with a b16 is *slow*. It's not going to be *fast*, but it can still beat the shit out of any D-series civic.
