It's not the crucial.
The weight isn't a factor I'd be worried about. Finding mounts the properly sit the motor in the chassis correctly is. Snapping axles w/ a stock motor sucks.

I've done the whole "I swapped X engine because everyone else swaps Y engine" thing. Never again. I want an engine I can buy cams for at wawa.

I'm actually trying to get my cousin to sell the h swap and go b. He won't because of what you said "I swapped X engine... ".
I'm actually about to sell everything I have. Buy a stock Gs-R/HypeR motor and throw in my shit.
Nothing like having a motor you.. turn key and roll out.

thanks or all the info but as for k series isn't those power numbers the same as h22? as for the my buget i plan on this to take a year so i can piece together what i want(motor,turbo?,clutch,flyw.posibly built block at first)
so i can try to catch good deals as they come.i know it won't get a damn d series in it(had d16z6,d16y8,plus mini me,in a 88 crx)my foot doesn't get along with them. to many bad times on he side of the road cussing.have had two h23s in preludes and they did me well. i have been in a couple h22 civics(two in auto-x)and they handled very well but one the oter hand the b series is lighter and part are every where. can you get civic si mounts then bolt on a b series and how good is the ls vtec converson?

A K20 hatch vs. a H22a hatch w/ equal mods (intake/header/exhaust/tune/solidmounts). The K20 hatch will come out on top.
Now. If you aren't ballin enough to do the Kseries swap.
And want H. Get some mounts. The H2B conversion kit. LSD B-Series trans. Intake/header/exhaust and tune it. Not dcsports header, and shitty exhaust. Quality stuff.
