wreckless driving ticket suggestions
Yeah try to take a class etc. to lessen the charges, thats if the judges giva shiet...if they pull up old records...good luck you might lose your drivers license or big fine...dont think jailtime though....Virginia sucks..she should have payed attention to those POSTED WHITE signs on the side of the road"Authorized Vehicles Only" etc. cuz thats where they hide can't see em' at night...Dont brake downshift w/ Eb-brakes....I got a reckless in Cali..sent the payment 110 dollars check in the mail..etc. no court...guess Va differs here..
no you can do payment by mail or pay by credit card assuming that you weren't driving 20 over the speed limit, reckless driving. yah i talked with her today everyone and her decision is to hire the same lawyer that i had and go to driving improvement class. so thanks everyone for your help. hopefully she wont go to jail cuz that's what she really doesnt want.
i like the "don't go to court idea", but if that is not to her liking i'd just move to another state again, she's got 48 more to choose from.
She can also swap some other wheels on her car go to the speedometer calibration shop get the car calibrated a few miles off, not 20. Then she can get a lawyer and if she's lucky the judge may offer her the probation and require that she attend a driving school pending she hasn't already been to one in the last 2-3 . Then she just has to make sure she doesn't get another moving violation or it goes back into effect and she just pissed away lawyer fees on top of court fees and her license.

what my lawyer told me was not to take the driver improvement class, reason being you will not have anything to bargain with when she goes to court, usually the judge will suggest improvement class, if she already took it, what can she offer to the judge? (besides a BJ)
best thing would be to hire a lawyer usually $300, it was a smart thing for me cuz he talked to the cop and got it knocked down to speeding , which would be good for her since she was not rude to the officer so he/she might go that route

. i learned my lesson
*knock on wood*
damn.. 5 tickets.. You beter hope dmv is crappy about transfering info from state to state. Id doubt it with the new system they have. Definatly need a lawyer but even then.. 5 ticketts.. your not going to be able to say.. im sorry.. ill never do it again or it was a mistake.. if youve made the same mistake 5 times.. lol
Dont hire a lawyer. Your just wasting more money to hiring one. Just go to court, plead guilty, pay the fine, and suck it up cause your license is gonna be suspended for at least 6 months or more.
Never go to court without a lawyer, you'd be suprised what they can do for you. But it sounds like she is going to get spanked on this one. The judge will see the out of state tickets, because they are on her driving record. I hope she lives in New Kent or somewhere close to it because, to get an attorney to go out there is hella expensive. Tell her to call an attorney on the phone, they may be able to tell her what she is looking at getting. Try for one in New Kent or something since they know all the judges and cops.
