I don't know if this has been said or not, but it is un-true that you HAVE to run obd-1 on the mini-me. You can wire vtec up easily, and run a PR3 obd-0 b16a ecu.


If you want to do a mini-me, I suggest getting a different block due to the HF motor not being designed for higher RPM's. If you have the money, Get an OBD-1 jumper harness, OBD-1 distributor and OBD-1 ECU and get tuned on crome. It'll be pretty quick for a single cam, specifically in a lighter chassis


If you need someone to wire VTEC up, shoot me a PM and I'll do it for cheap.

Your's sucked really? Mine ran fine with it, I had a A6 bottom end with P'n'p Z6 head.

 

I'm not going to get into this arguement about running a b16 ecu on a mini-me again. I will just saw, I would not do it. Also this post is full of stupid info, I really would not listen to almost anything anyone has said to you in here. However you also said you have a JDM short shifter. What makes it JDM?

 

That's why I recommended converting to obd-1 and getting a tune.
