The commissioner sets the standard, basically, and the insurance company can charge within those rates.

Why is it that whenever there is a big flood or a hurricane in Florida or like in New Orleans, the home insurance rates go up (when the insurance company pay out alot)?

On topic: Heard of them, but I don't know about how well they practice law.

Off topic: Let them abolish the helmet law, and let darwinism take hold. I'd still wear my helmet, wearing it just makes me feel safe doing something I know has the potential to be dangerous while being fun--you know kinda like wearing a rubber. Sure its not required, but you feel safer on many levels for wearin one.

AMEN! last year i tried wearing shorts and a t-shirt while riding cuz it was so hot out....I rode around the block and came home a couple minutes later and threw my gear on cuz I felt like I was naked. Plus EVERYBODY heard what happened to Roethlisberger last year. Its better to learn from others' mistakes than your own.

and ya, haha, I just got a letter from them the other day, too, but I already have an excellent lawyer handy, so don't really need em.
