Here is another link for motorcycle oils
http://www.motorcycleanchor.com/moto...to/mc_oil.html

I know that you are a new rider as well, so I am just going throw this link out there for you to do lots of reading. Lots of great info here.

Another good link, but I still don't know how to change the starter on a bike... Is it really that hard to do or what??

disconnect the battery, take the hot lead off the starter, take out the 2 bolts at the back of the starter that bolt it to the cases, and pull the starter out. it's got an o-ring on it, so it might need a bit of wiggling to get it out. reassmbly is the reverse of removal.

pretty simple.

if it doesn't go back in relatively easilty, spin the starter over by hand a few degrees to line up the teeth, and try again. sometimes it might need a slight tap with a rubber mallet to get it seated all the way.

I think you should join a community for FZRs. It is good to ask general motorcycle questions on here, but when you get bike specific, usually, different bikes are built differently. Skr00zloose is probably the only person here who is able to answer questions specific to almost all bikes. If you find an FZR forum, you will find that those people will be able to give you an enormous amount of help for doing stuff specifically to the FZR. I am not saying to abandon us here, but if we dont know about FZR, we just dont know about FZR. I can tell you how to change it on a Honda Accord, and I could probably help change it if I saw a FZR, but we just dont know.

I found one, but I'm trying to spread my annoying questions over two forums instead of one. lol

haha...sure...see which answer first. lol. good luck man! Try to get a manual though. There was a link posted up here a few weeks ago which had manuals for a ton of bikes. That will help alot with doing repairs and stuff.
