Ok, replys to your questions/statements
A. My question to you is why were you parked in a place that your car would get towed in the first place. You should have been smarter than that and realized where you were parking your car or were you already to drunk to realize?
B. Friends always have another way to get home from the bar. It's called a cab. Your friends should have been a little smarter on their decision to drink and not have a DD.
C. As for the friend, I can understand when somebody goes into the hospital you want to be there. My question to you is how long have you been a doctor? Wait, you say you're not a doctor, then there is no reason you have to rush to the hospital so quick that you couldn't have called one of the other people going to the hospital for a ride.
My opinion is that the first 2 situations were stupid on your part. I will give you the benefit of the doubt on the last one because I can understand when a friend gets in an accident that you wanna be there for them. What you need to understand is that there are rules in this world and you are going to have to follow them or suffer the consequences.
I'm not trying to preach to you or anything but I have been dealing with people like you for the last 3 years and I've stopped having sympathy for them.

Ok, i figured you were talking about campus. Blacksburg is a different story with towing, you cant find a parking spot to save your life half the time, and if you find one, your probably gonna get towed from it because its probably reserved.
dude they tow at vt at all times for anything..there has been a petition signed by a few thousands of people to try to ban the towing by the infamous TECH TOW because they will illegally tow cars and cover it up..everyone at tech has had a run in with the towing company
