More loan crap
Save up 2,000 and buy a bike out right. I found mine for under 1000 but its not exactly perfect, but again I don't care. 2000 can get you a really nice bike if you take the time to wait and look, especially in a few months (winter) once you've saved up.
Getting a bike in winter isn't an option. I'd like to pay in cash (cuz thats how I roll) but I want something nice for a first bike, nothing mid-90's or anything. I really like 04 cbr600's. I'm just searching forums and classifieds looking for one.
Jake rides durty. If you can though Jake I would just save up for awhile. I saved up for a year just a little here a little there and bam then I had 1500 cash put away. It was enough to buy the bike and pay a few months insurance and get a lid and jacket. I feel it is definitely worth it.

hahaha I have to say paying rent here in Newport News is hella cheaper then up in fairfax I got a room at a house for 435 a month with utilities included. We have a huge backyard to park cars for parties a garage to work in a huge kitchen blah blah blah blah. Rent here is da bomb. You could get a fairly nice bike with 2k though and if you just kept saving from this point on till when you sell your car you probably end up with enough to have something completely paid off and not having worry about making payments omg that is a godsend. I did the same with with my rent at the house. I gave my property manager enough cash to cover a year and she sends me a bill with how much is deducted every month and if I have to leave early I can get my other cash back, I just do not like making payments.
