People with sportbikes can talk gear all day long. It's a never ending debate. I have top quality gear. But if there's times where im not comfortable in it then I'm not going to be comfortable riding in it either. Therefore, I cannot enjoy myself.
Weird how you never hear these gear debates on cruiser forums
Me and a couple friends all picked up bikes this week, and none of us are that experienced with riding in traffic yet. Unfortunately, though, we all live in high traffic areas. Are there any roads near the Newport News/YC/Williamsburg area that are good for going out and cruising and getting seat time on the bike without worrying as much as idiots who fly through traffic?
Congrats on the new play toy. There are a few nice roads off 199 in Williamsburg in the direction of the KOA campsites.
+1 to getting gear and try the MSF course if you haven't already.
