some of the bose trucks are wired different so be careful ... yes the special edition blazers like the diamond editions and the envoys had optional bose

 

if you get a stock cd player from same model truck ...you do not need to wire anything ..just plug it in....

 

iv had porblems with installing stock cd players in a truck that didnt come with one. it wouldnt work, its somethin the dealer had to do, had 2 have a certain code for the deck to work .. we were swapin the decks n 2 trucks .. ended up bein a big pain in the ass
