I vote vette, I hate the new bmw's, and bmws are starting to become a dime a dozen up here in richmond at least, everyone has one. You don't see c6's everyday.....

When you drive both and have owned both.....then you can make an intelligent opinion. A 318 is not a very good experience.

 

So far, neither of your comments in this thread have had anything to do with offering your opinion on the OP's question. If you are trying to hint at the fact that the corvette owners may be biased, it only need be thought about logically. If you buy a sports car and think its garbage, are you going to reccomend that car to your friends? no. However, if you feel you have made an exquisite choice, and it has out-performed your expectations, are you going to reccomend it? yes. IIRC, they get the same gas mileage, but the vette comes with 130 more HP. Bottom line, if you want a sportscar get the vette. if you want a bunch of creature comforts get the bimmer. you'll never want to mod the bimmer AT ALL. maybe a computer reflash but thats it. To each his own.

Let's see, you were able to stomach a Tiburon for 3 years but got rid of an S2000 after only 2 months. This kind of leads me to believe you're not a sports car person. So I say, get the 335.

It all started by poking fun at a couple of biased opinions then you escalated it.... and if you are imposing that i drive a stock 1.8L then you are sadly mistaken. I have driven all of the newer and alot of the older model bmws including all of the m series cars, kinda helps when you work on them everyday.... and i have also driven c5 corvettes and c6s, to me it was not all that impressive considering the handling is by far superior in bmws. If it was me i'd go with the bmw.

 

I could be wrong, and i dont have time atm to look it up, but I would assume the suspension in the C6 is superior to a 335i coupe.
