From what I heard when working for Ford, most people say the V10 gets 'decent' mileage, not much worst then the v8. Hell with the lift and tires your prob getting the same mileage now as you would with the v10.
But Im with you, my next payment is going to be on a used F250 powerstroke. Preferably the 7.3.

you heard right. with a 38 or 39 inch tire the 6.8l v10 gets better gas mileage than the 5.4l v8.
