Re: Factory Orange Peel
all cars have some sort of peel. some colors just show it worst then others. but i paint cars and if your trying to do a show job. with no peel at all you have to make sure there's good amount of clear and then wet sand and buff. you can wet sand and buff the factory paint but i wouldn't go to far because you dont know how much clear there is and you dont want to burn through then have to put paint on it. And that clear is real hard so its going to be harder to buff back then a fresh painted car.

FUCK THEM
i have had personal experiences with them on my SS.
they painted a hood/front bumper for me and it was horrible. paint cracked. orange peel was just as bad as before and they do shitty work all around.
i even heard some highschool faggot telling another employee how many cars hes done today. they arent concerned with quality.
definitely DO NO go with Micar on greenbrier blvd

Re: Factory Orange Peel
look closely at your paint, preferably in a tight spot
it looks like the paint was applied with the surface of an orange because of small "dents" in the paint

My stepdads truck has this.
All the cars at my house have this.
I've learned to accept it.
