Adapting the output drive is the biggest logistical problem. You could make it chain drive though and drive a chainring on the diff housing.. You could also make a spline drive adapter to couple where the output sprocket goes. Not too big of a deal, just takes some inginuity. Metros with motorcycle engines have been done before though..
Yeah, ~110 HP at super high RPM in a car that heavy would be slow. That's why it needs a nice longer stroke 'Busa engine with a lot more power. It still wouldn't be super fast, but a Metro with 180 HP would be pretty fun.. Well, at least until you turned a corner and the horrible suspension geometry bit you in the ass..
