Shrug, we weren't boasting about his car lol, we were complaining about the service. I know 10+ people who could afford anything on that lot, am i one of them? no, but when they ask me, have you had anyone buy a Porsche locally, im looking to get one, i will say look out for this dealer, why? because they do not care to sell or help their customers, plan and simple.

To add to that, it not far fetched, how many people on here drive 70k+ cars? the fact i know over a handful personally doesn't meen anything, we have people on here with Porsches, C6 Zo6's, Vipers, Skylines, NSXs, all high ticket cars, who could be going there to get there next one, but dress in khakis and a t shirt w/ sandles, does that meen they deserve any less service? Shit, Rich on here, last meet i saw him at he looked like everyone else (a little older :P) but im sure he can afford just about anything on that lot. Guess they shouldn't be rude.

Checkered Flag MINI and BMW are fantastic. I've not been to Porsche, but a guy that I know has purchased several from them (including a new 997) and had nothing but good things to say.

Having said that, according to some fellow MINI owners, BMW Service is not so nice to you if you didn't buy the car from them or you're out of your Total Care time.

I used to sell cars and I know how you can make judgements before you should, you know you shouldn't do it but after so many tire kickers that can't afford even a shitty used car much less the 30k car they are looking at it gets hard not to pass judgement. I can only imagine how many tire kickers the high end dealers get making it even worse.

Not saying it is right, but it happens. However you know you get judged based upon how you carry yourself, if you plan to make a large purchase change the way you carry yourself for it or expect that you could be treated other than as a prime customer.

Everything is not equal no matter what anyone has told you.

I couldn't agree more.

One thing that I know a lot of high-end dealers do is run a credit pre-screen before they even let you test drive a car. The knowledge that this will occur cuts down on a lot of wasted time that a sales advisor will have to spend with those who do not have the means to afford the vehicle.

That is fine, but someone actually has to approach you to run a credit report

I forgot to mention a lot of people don't realize how much a Pharmacist makes. Even a "retail pharmacist" (Walgreens) may start at $55-60 an hour. So if they work a 40 hour week and no overtime or holiday pay thats at least $106,000 a year right there. I used to be an underpaid pharmacy technician so I know these things...

I used to work there and i'll totally agree with you, Fran is a fucking tool bag. HUGE tool bag. And as far as the sales department goes, Chris is right after Shirly left things just went down hill. The GM at CF Porsche just got fired last friday because of how shitty he ran the store.
