thats my orginal complaint, my pc makes a sound like its blocking a pop up when I click on the yellow box, mail, or earth links above.

nope I held the ctrl button and clicked the yellow box and it just makes the sound block, block, freaking block... I also downloaded firefox with no help... this is really pissing me off.

In any event, I had to set the popup blocker filter to high (the default is medium) to get the yellow info bar to even trigger.

Add this site to your popup blocker whitelist.
Also, just manually use the image tags, it's not hard, and it's only a miniscule amount of effort (and honestly, it's probably less because you aren't moving your hand away from the keyboard).
