According to your story, he never actually saw alcohol on you. Yet he wouldn't ever ask if you were 21 if he didn't. Plus, a lot of people legitimately would carry a can of soda or something in their pockets. This story is missing something.
Private property only applies if you are in a fenced in yard. If you have no fence around your front yard, you are "technically" in public view. I know it's stupid but my neighbor across the street from me called the cops because me and my bro were drinking on the front porch. The cop explained it to me in detail. I did not get in any trouble. I was told to take it inside or outback.

ya i got all that but there is no law about unopend alcohol theres a sub law thing that says i can transport it as long as its unopen
