It's not your solenoid if vtec engages. Either it works or it doesn't. If you have a loss of power, it's something completely unrelated to the solenoid.

oh, and you prob have no oil, haven't changed it in a year, or your cars about to blow up. Do a compression test, leak down also, then call me to buy my car after yours is done.
