i painted the wheels on my Xterra black. didn't use any primer, it's seen it's share of fun and has held up good for a a year or two now.

i used duplicolor wheel paint as well. and what you should do after you sand/wash them is whipe down the surface of the part of the wheels you are painting with some sort of mineral spirit to clean it.

this one is off my phone,i love the color and it looks amazing with the car but that is a horrible picture.

If your gonna rattle can it, soak the cans in HOT water for a while. It will help atomize the paint. If you know this cool. If not well there ya go
