In what respects? The GTR looks to have some great trackability based upon initial reports........but 3800+lbs @ 475hp? equals getting walked by 505hp @ 3135lbs. That would be my guess. I'd like to see what they are going to do with the Vspec version (or whatever it will be called).

Nissan has said it'll do 0-60 in 3.5 seconds.....if I remember right, the Z06 is somewhere in that range.

I believe you get that number from the Dynopak results that have been floating around the internet. Most dyno numbers I've read about have been in the 430-455 awhp range....still pretty impressive. The awd will be great for getting that power to the ground initially(ie, 996TT), but I'm pretty sure the Z06 will walk it around 100mph. 700lbs is a lot of weight to catch up with. Anyone remember the GT500? At least a second slower in the 1/4 mile (500hp and 3800lbs+) than a Z06. Of course Nissan will be able to beat that with their AWD launches.

My Z06 dyno (1st and 2nd run). My max is now 492rwhp

 

From what i heard, the New skyline runs a 11.6 at i dont know waht track, in other words it would be a good race for a z06. Skyline was stock everything!

the dyno graph of the GTR and the Z06 are scaled differently. It's visually misleading for most people: its horizontally squished.
