Whole different design, the '84-'87 Rear uses a lower A-Arm, balljointed to an upright and a Mcpherson strut and tie rod that has about 4 times the radius of the a-arm. This design causes bump steer and a 'twitchy' car (lots of snap steer) The '88's use a Trailing arm with a radius arm with an equal length toe arm. The fronts on the '88's also have a coilover front shocks.

Pics of the 3kgt motor? Thats a first I've heard as that is a very wide motor as well as trans and axles, wondering how they pulled that off.

sorry no pics of the 3000gt swap , I saw it in person at virginia motorsports park and it was a tight fit to say the least. The car was running 12's on what the guy said was a stockmotor with overboosted stock twins.

Sounds like a lot of work when considering that the Northstar V8 swap is alot easier and there is a lot room for performance mods!
