I've heard of some crazy swaps into vanagons. Chevy V8s, TDI, 1.8T, I've also seen on line an awd old school bug with a subaru bottom end and porsche heads. More power to you. I'd definatly like to see pics of before during and after. Hell I'd love to swing by and look at the progress

I saw an article online somewhere about that swap . I use to rock an 85 with a wasserboxer . They say that it had the power of a Porsche with the cornering of a double decker !! I've only seen a few that actually looked tough ( no ... for real ! ) with some nice drop and aftermarket wheels .

One thing I didn't know about was that the auto tranny uses auto tranny fluid AND gear oil ( Oops !! ) so I traded it with a blown up tranny for some work on my Rado .

I would definetely want it to look "tough" I was actually thinking of just that, maybe put some airbags and 18's. My friend has some 18's on his car and we took one off and put it on the van to see what it would look like....t i i i i i ight, really, I cant believe what rims will do to this van. Anyways, I got my engine yesterday, out comes the waterboxer in comes the ej20t!!

ask any guy with a b16 in their CRX why they didnt get a b18c5, those would probably be the same answers I would give you...
money
power is good
availability
etc.
plus this motor came with a water to air intercooler, which is good because a top mount air to air would be no good in a rear mounted engine.
unless it was in a porsche

I bought the motor from nippon-motors.com, its a jdm and they claim it produces 240hp.
