God Damn Ford and their DPFE Valves... I had a Focus ZX3 back in '01 that ate them about every other month. It was still under warranty, but they finally gave up trying to figure out why it was doing it. The Ford Service Rep basically wrote me a blank work order to roll in and have it replaced at will. After going through 7 in 11 months, I sold the car...

If the male connects on the DPFE are not differnt sizes, then you need to take it back.. They should be differnt sizes, as well as the hoses should be differnt sizes

And Johnsons Mustangs and Trucks off of military highway has all sorts of F150's on site..

 

Well aside from the nipples apparently being the same size,the hoses dont look to be different in size either.Im almost positive its needs a dpfe sensor,the truck runs great but has the egr code and gets bad gas mileage after i did everything that i read up on forums.But i didnt even think about going to a dealership,thanks!

well actually my girls sister had a 98 f150 with the 4.6 so i just took a look at theirs,thanks though.
