Have you tried this site http://www.cbrforum.com/ Theres some pretty decent people on there, and your more likely to find someone with a specific bike like your looking for. On here It's really the same 5-10 people.

I wanted to see if anybody in the area maybe had one... and if they had already read the post.. they might not look again.. so I made another with a different objective than the first.

that is why I want to put his CDI in somebody else's bike and not put their CDI in his bike. I dont want to burn up theirs... but if he CDI works in their bike.. then that means that his is good and is not the problem. So... there is no chance of harming the other CDI or anything else.

Well.. lets see.. we have replaced the all the fuses and fusable links.. and the brain box.. still wont run.. we are thinking that it is the voltage reg. Just curious if anybody can tell us... when the ignition is on.. without the bike running.. we are only getting 1 wire with current from the voltage reg.. is this normal or can we assume this may be the problem? We are having a ball just throwing money at this damn bike.. LOL.. of coarse.. I am not throwing any money... I am just giving up space in my garage for this large paper weight to sit!
