So what Performer intake did you get? Do you have a part number? Because the one for Windsor heads and the one for Clevelands are totally different.

And with that intake and heads, you still won't be at 400 bhp.

What crossmember did you use in your car?

Especially since some idiot "stole" his shitty gear set that isn't very easy at all to remove. I mean, who would steal a 7.5 gear set? And yeah, the 85Gt comes with a 7.5 rear too.

You need to take that thing either to my friends house on Dare rd, Vitale Motorsports just across the Coleman, or to Rocket on 17, so they can tell you what your car really is.

the 4 eyed foxes have never grown on me,and apparently never will. the 351 should be nice whenever he figures out if its a cleveland,or windsor, and swaps that shitty 7.5 out.

yeah the 7.5 in my 85 was stolen while the car sat overnight at my uncles shop. Called me the next morning and said the rear end was empty. So some idiot must have thought I had some nice ass rear end I guess.

Thread went way off topic, anyone know about the antique plates? I would still have to have the car insured or pay the $500 uninsured motor vehicle fee right?

I *think* the car still has to be insured..but there are alot of stipulations that go along with the Antique tag, which, make it not worthwhile IMO.

well my exhaust system isnt street legal, other than that, everything is legit. I dont see the point of the car being registered and insured to be on the street regularly when its more of a strip/show car. Ive read up on the "rules" of antique vehicles so I know exactly what is allowed and what isnt. Just trying to find some first hand accounts of getting it done.

my buddy 81maro5.7 drove his car around for almost 5 months with a legit inspection sticker and a set of antique plates not even for his car. never got pulled once.
