well if smoke is coming out of your o2 housing and the car feels weak...sounds like it could be the turbo.
what color is the smoke?

it was white but it doesn't do the smokin shit anymore. ok, now figure this one out for me. i was playin around w/ "Deluded" tonight and third gear pulled nice at 8psi, nice and smooth! i yanked it into 4th early like around 6grand or so and the whole car just starts shaking and the car just stops accelerating!!! I have no fuckin clue what happened! help me out here turbo guys!!! could it be a air leak? oh and for the turbo, i check it for shaft play and it has none. since it was rebuilt and upgraded w/ a 50 trim compressor wheel, i can't see anything being wrong w/ it since it only has like 6-8 thousand miles on it! what else could be the problem?

so the smoking cured itself? did it happen all the time before and now it never happens or it happens at random times?
white means coolant which means it could be the headgasket but that doesn't seem to lend itself to what you're describing.
I'm running out of ideas without more information. If it were my car I would do a quick compression check and go from there.

i want to get it diagnosted somewhere but don't know anywhere to do it. there is no way i'm ever takin it back to the toyota dealership either. anyone know any places around the newport news area? custom car care is supposely backed up for a couple weeks! oh, it stopped smoking i guess because i tightened up a clamp from my intercooler pipe to my turbo. I'm pretty sure thats why it was smoking! now why the car goes from smooth, to shaking like hell under full throttle "sometimes" make no sense to me!

the shaking can be described as anything really.

bad detonation makes the car shake at wot.
worn pressure plate.
bad throw-out bearing.

Like Heat said...do a compression check.

p.s there should be NO smoke coming from anywhere in your intercooler pipes. ie...if you fixed it by just clamping it up...logic states its still smoking...you're just not seeing it anymore.

gluck with it man.
