Got pulled. Drivers License question ...
law used to be once you are in the state consecutively for 30 days you must change it.
Just say you are not a resident of this state and are not here consecutively for any amount of time. Don't give them more info than you have to and don't ever become a VA res. if you don't have to.
I am working on an evacuation plan for va res's trying to register in NC. A sort of underground railroad if you will.
iirc they repealed the crazy fines of last year.

Nash is a total Nazi....got me for no tag on the front. tag was in front window, said he didn't see it. couldn't see it etc.
Can't stand the cops...sorry if there are any on here...but just my personal opinion.
If there arew any on here....we probably don't need 10 of you cruising around matoaca...not that much happens around here for such a huge police presence. I know you guys like chillin over in the park tho. Whenever I pass...always a couple of em hangin out.

you dont have to change your license. i have tha same situation i have a beach house in md but i live in va and go to school my license is in md. i got a ticket for the same thing you almost did went to court and got off because the house i live in is under my mom's name not mine so its not my "main" residence. O and thoes new driving laws you speak of have been done away with as of this week.

Non-resident students who work in VA are required to obtain a VA drivers license. If you don't have a job and are a full-time student, then you can keep your out of state license.
Non-residents can temporarily live in VA for six months before they must obtain a VA driver's license.
New residents must apply for a VA license within sixty days.
Active duty military and their dependents are exempt from VA licensing requirements.
