Vertex is a shop? Damn, I thought they were just a crew with really ugly cars! Are they a rice warehouse or do they just not discriminate who they give shop banners to? I've seen a dozen riced out (tacky ghetto rice) cars of all sorts sporting the Vertex windshield banner.

 

Yes Vertex is a shop in Tysons. They do all kinds of work and a good place for body kits. Funny thing is when I went to Myrtyle beach, the only kleen civic on the strip was a 4dr. 5th gen civic with a roll cage and turbo. I'm sure every crew has their share of rice.

 

I have seen ONE decent looking car with a VERTEX banner. All the rest were supreme garbage.

 

The owner has a white S14....I think it's an S14. I think they give banners to all the customers who buy full body kits. I doubt every car with a vertex banner is a vertex sponsored car...it's NOVA bro.

 

Guess you just have to see some of these cars I'm talking about. If it was YOUR shop, you'd rip the stickers off their fucking cars! Seriously, they're horrible....Chesapeake style horrible.

 

Trust me I've seen some of them. The one reason I stopped going there is because Steve can be too nice at times. He would let just any ol' ganster hang out at his shop. These thugs would watch your ride get work done to it, follow you home and jack your shit that night. At times, he seemed like he had no control over the people so called "browsing" in his shop.

P.S. The guy Mike who worked on my car was cool as hell, he was giving me suspension tips while putting my springs/shocks on. This was like 4 years ago when I was really wet behind the ears in the honda game.

 

I'd like to make that meeting up @ Kohls...but i was plannin on heading down to NOPI NATIONALS.. but i might stop by and see whats goin on

 

I pretty much do all my own work to my own car. I mean i like it and it gives me somethin to do.. but i mean, i use to get my parts from shops and online..but since im in a new area, i was thinkin maybe there are some hot shops around here i can get my stuff from. But ill check out some of those shops you guys listed to me....are they fair price or ...alil expensive?
