Actually there is no such thing as a 4th gen SH. I was asking him if he swapped a H22a engine in a Si car or if it was a originial VTEC car... Thanks anyways, i kinda know VTECs a bit though
isn't the 4th gens the newest ones?? if so then they have the SH's. The h22a's came in the SH's
If its the 92-96 preludes which might be the 4th gens's, I dont know then the h22's did come in the Si's which also have awd and aws, which is pretty bad ass.

True, the 5th gen SH's had h22a's, but not ALL VTEC 5th gens were Type SH's, so you couldn't assume either way.

Actually with 4th gens, the Si VTECs were "considered" Si's and also had the h22a VTEC engine from factory...so Si's did have VTECs. Its kinda screwy and thats why they ended up just calling them Si's (non-vtec) and VTECs for the later years. Also, there was never a AWD Prelude. There was a AWS Prelude in the 4th gen...and i guess its bad ass...kinda useless.
