Not Ital, but if you're looking for a good place I'd suggest Wildfire at Tyson's Galleria.

If you want real italian food you cannot go to these chains being listed. If you have some time (it is in alexandria) this weekend I HIGHLY recommend this place. Family owned and amazing food. They have a fireplace to sit by, and the prices are good(~15 plate). I recommend the Rigatoni Carbonara. Sorry its so far, just not familiar w/ family owned places in the reston area.

Zefferelli's in Herndon. Maggianos in Tysons is good to, the rest are chains. IMHO, any Great American Restaurant has good food i.e. Sweetwater, Arties, Coastals, Siverados etc..

Maggianos is a huge chain, they're all over the country.

Yeah I realized that after I posted it. Speaking of the Mama's (which was a cool place to drink during football season), PJ Skidoos has good food too.

I like that place.. my biggest gripe: Their happy hour specials do not apply on the patio. How lame is that?

Pretty lame. I used to DJ there until they started trying to tell me what to play because the "urban" music was bringing in the wrong crowd. The prime rib there is business.
