Which local is selling their black srt-4??
thanks because i def. will. I started reading up on stuff over there again a few weeks ago after i got the idea to buy another one. And holy shit a lot has changed......is it really required to remove the balance shaft at 350whp? that struck me as odd.
yeah basically if you reach or over 300 get the DCR removal kit and you'll be set (required) or just cut the chain.
there are alot of little things to do b4 you get mods live check valve for the PCV valve which is non functional on the srt, basically it doesnt hold boost. and DCR oil modifier is a must, basically it keeps oil pressure off the head so you dont fuck shit up when in boost.

You dont need aftermarket pistons and rods to make 400hp+, with proper tuning and bolt ons it'll be enough trust me. Also the vibration is noticable slightly, not enough to be recognizable. I still havent done it but yet im never planning on going big turbo so. I like my quick spool little turbo and lots of flutter.

thanks, most likely im going to start going out to bass pro to meet people anyway, so that might work out well. I was asking about rods and pistons for 500whp though.....but ive also heard its where the tranny reaches its limit. is 10's still nearly impossible on slicks? or did they create some sort of traction control or something to help launch at the strip?

a gt35r kit, BFMIC, 3" Side Exit Exhaust, suspension mods, short throw shifter, and slicks, and a good driver might possibly get you in the 10's
