o yea i am missing 2 bolts intake manifold, think thats it? its also sputtering alot but NO check engine light every unused vacuum line is plugged up

ive got a gsr in my da integra with a skunk2 manifold. im in va beach if you wanna take a look, we can meet somewhere half way.

 

Ok go on clubcivic.com. Look on their main page and you will see a write-up with lots of pics and STEP by STEP instructions on how to perform the manifold swap. I've done this swap like 34,000 times. Im pretty sure there is a crack in your paper gasket and or u didn't clean and take a razorblade and clean off the old gasket which im 100% sure half of it stayed around the head ports.

 

I would do it but u would have to bring it to maryland....240 441 7933

happened to mine as well. didnt clean good enough. and his ecu is looking for the butterflies that are not there anymore

 

i got the hondata gasket...i was told using a regular one would be better, i dont even know why i spent 40 bucks on it,lol maybe ill try and regular gasket, and just yesterday i took off the IM again and scraped every bit of the old gasket off, so ill try again this weekend..thanks for the input!

but i dont understands just runs shitty tho, kinda has me upset,lol...sputters, sometimes backfires...could a gasket leak really cause that much damage?

ooo yea i forgot to mention that i have VAFC II as well maybe that can be tuned the right way, it was tuned by a friend and he never showed me anything,lol he just kind of did it..
