Re: VaDriven Helmet Thread
I use the Simpson Diamondback helmet when using my vette for the track. Not a bad helmet but just a bit pricey. Very comfortable with decent ventilation:
I had an Icon Mainframe helmet......not bad for the price but build quality was fair at best. Some stitching started splitting, etc. I upgraded to a Suomy Extreme Spec 1R (Fabrizio).......very light and stable helmet, a bit blingy and pricey as well. I'm happy with it:

I have two..
Love it! a bit crazy looking, but I get a ton of compliments.. Noisier than the Shoei.. but better air flow
AND
very nice, light, and very comfortable.. also very quiet inside.

Had two but got pics of this one,
Old School Arai, from 03.
It held up EXTREMELY WELL, for a 75+mph wreck(yes i was playing around, and I PAID for it).
Wind noise was high, but it breathed wonders, and was SUPER LIGHT.
Other helmet I had was a Shoei RF-1000, it was quiet and didn't catch wind underneath, but that bitch was HEAVY.
