man its weird this is the first time i seen it happen hahaha it idle around 700 in neutral staying still and idle 1500-2k in neutral rollin....

probably idle screw backed out, or maybe idle control solenoid.

I'm not that smart on jdm engine swaps, but check your throttle plate make sure its clean, and test your MAF sensor, that will cause weird idling too, As for the ticking it could it be valves out of of adjustment, I'm dealing with that right now on my nissan. Loud ticking but it goes up and down with the RPM's.

This off idle is famous on EH hatches. I believe it has to do with the brake booster. As for your ticking noise?? Good luck maybe a valve adjustment will fix it.
