open the hood on your car and feel if ur intake is throwing heat,then it could be that ur cat needs to be replace. Its happen to me.

If the intake is throwing hot air, that means its getting back pressure and the car will cut off. You might have to change the cat. Or the muffler.

thanks for the inputs i am going to change ignition someone told me over the weekend that they had a recall on the ignition switch but not sure.

I suggest that you grab a factory manual and actually go through a troubleshooting procedure instead of randomly replacing things. Testing stuff is one thing, and that's very useful. Blindly swapping parts is a big waste of time and money if you don't have any direction.

If it cuts off while driving down the road it isn't the IACV. They are only active at...err..idle.
