05 STI or EVO 8 MR
STI's are sexy, so are EVO's.
heres a video on them. http://jp.youtube.com/watch?v=ioNjbsjAZ8k
the evo out preforms the sti but ive always heard the evos break down alot.
but then ive heard the parts on the sti are super expensive compared to the evo.
but either choice you make im sure you wont be disapointed because the are both good cars. good luck

Answer these questions first....
1) Will you be driving with your hat turned sideways?
2) Will your first purchase be a new BOV?
3) Will you rev your engine while stop of cruising by slowly blowing off at people?
4) Will you install neons or anything that is considered "Rice?"
If you answer yes to any of those questions please step away from the evo and never get near one again.

If you want a more comfortable daily driver go with the STi it has better overall fit and finish (the interior for instance) and the extra displacement makes for better city driving. But if you're more performance oriented and love going to the track, I'd recommend the Evo. A stock turbo Evo 8 can safely get you to 350whp (more or less depending on the dyno) with alcohol injection.
I'd really recommend springing the extra money for an Evo 9 though. The MIVEC engine alone is worth it.

Just my .02 cents. Of course if you find a deal on a MR get one... just wouldnt pay extra for one.
