240sx rb26dett swap
Learn how to drift first with a lightly modified engine. Then you can worry about engine swaps and body kits and lots of suspension braces and adjustable everything. It doesn't matter how much money you have wrapped up in a car if you don't know enough to drive it or adjust it accordingly.
Yep.
1) Make sure the car's solid and kept up, and get some experience driving it; get to know it.
2) Spend money on suspension before motor. It doesn't take a lot of power to drift. All new bushings, shocks/springs or coilovers, links, etc.
3) Then worry about the engine swaps and shit. In your case, I'd just turbo the KA. Properly done, it'll get you more power for your money than any swap will.
