Some of the cars at these local shows are cool, but some are like ---- are you serious, you think someone wants to look at that??
The best car shows are filled with incredible cars, whether low dollar or high dollar - so that the trashy ones don't even have a place there cause they don't meet the minimum standard...It just sucks cause most shows in these parts don't have much of a standard because they can't be picky - due to lack of cars. It happens, it's nobody's fault, but this leads back to my original comment - allot of younger kids don't have the funds neccessary to make a car really show-worthy...
so what do we end up with? Shows with some excellent cars, but tainted by some real nasty ones. Its a shame...

It blows my mind when I see cars that are rattle canned with red seat covers on oem rims that act like they are the shit. Hell My car was built on a uber tight budget and still breaks necks almost daily. (probably because of ride height) :P
I dont understand why people think that ebay mismatching body kits are still in fashon.

Exactly. I hate it. People can tastefully mod their cars if they use their funds correctly. One poor use of their money will ruin the entire car.
The best is the PT Cruiser crowd. I laugh everytime when I see them in a group, with flame stickers and chrome lightening bolts stuck to their car - making it so unique from all the others... WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Regardless of the turnout there is usually some very knowledgeable guys there with some fast cars. I enjoy going just to see their progress and how their doing. I never had a show car, so I never entered, but I went none the less.
