well i got myself a buffer, a mini one for close work, but i also have this wax i have yet to try thats supposed to deepen and i guess "rejuvenate" the color of your car to a degree, so that might help. The best way to get rid of water spots is to not let your car sundry, using a shimmy or something, and then wax and buff the shit out of it.

 

i try but the fuckers allways dry by the time i finish rinsing it, .... the spots were there before i got a hold of it, any way to keep the black molding back instead of that grayish look?

 

yeah its a bitch, better to wait for a non windy day, or not so hot one, or wash your car in phazes, not all at once - the same way you do wax jobs. The exterior vinyl is a toughy. You can spary it down and make it look awesome for like 30 min and then it phades again cuz of its texture and material, so i have yet to figure it out cuz my car does the same. i think they may sell paint for that, ill check on it.

 

Purple power the vinyl trim then use heavy amounts of silicone based shinner/protectant (meguiars version of armour all), for the paint before buffing it, try some white lightning cleaner and wipe it hard (think its called white lightning).......Then after buffing with like 3m compound get some 3m "finesse it 2" and use a soft pad to buff it again, after that get some machine glaze (Machine polish) and wipe it on like wax and wipe it off like wax (do this in the shade) this will fill small scratches and swirl marks.....This will be the cheapest way to make your car look shinier without re-painting it....
