Ideas for an eclipse spyder
I love this car and I'm definitely not going to sell it. When searching for a car in the price range I was looking at, this is about the best deal I could get.
I agree with getting a new top (that is something I was also thinking about). I would like to get a new bumper as well though.
Unfortunately it's not a turbo, nor is it a manual. I had found a manual, but it was a newer model and out of my price range.
I don't want the underbody kit because it's ilegal in Virginia. I'm a 16 year old kid in a descent looking convertible. Cops already pay me too much mind as it is. (didn't have to worry so much when I was driving my dads mini-van).
That's the plan.
It already has tinted windows. However, I'm curious to why the majority of you are against the body kit?
I will continue to browse the forums to get ideas.
Thanks for all the replies.

yea man. you should also get the lights that blink to the beat of the music. its tyte.
Don't do neons or body kit or any of that. I'll think you'll regret it later. Just save up, lower it on good suspension, wheels, tint, new top and call it a day.

If you want to mod the car then do tasteful mods that will look good. You wont get praised for having a car with a body kit and neons, not on this forum.
Just trust us dont get the lights or anything like that ITS NOT COOL. Save your money for when it breaks the eclipse is notorious for breaking and leaving you stranded. If you dont know how to work on cars you will after owning a dsm.
Check sovadsm.com out its the local eclipse forum.

- Bodykits are waste of money, and should never go on a car that is daily driven, plus most never fit as stated above.
- Once again no neon lights, you will look back when your older and be like why the hell did i ever want to do that.
- OEM bumper cover + a nice lip and your good to go
- Clean the car up like a stated before especially with the lil money you make thats all you need.

Tinted windows is a plus, but however, bodykits are ugly as shit, and about the ricest thing you could do along with underglow

Save your weekend money and get your car into "perfect" running condition.
Then, I would suggest going the I/H/E, Lowering/Rims route.
Body kits are mad expensive and don't really add anything useful to the kit. You may want to consider getting a front lip for the car.
And, the about the Lights flashing to the music? He was joking. Don't do it.
