Porsche accuses Nissan of cheating at the ring...
Don't forget that many other test against the Porsche had the GT-R faster including Top Gear. In fact, every test I have read had the GT-R quicker.
So all those drivers and reporters were on R compounds and no one said anything?
Yes, with the "Premium" package.
Which are sticky street tires, the Porsche's however were on Sport Cup's which are R comps as standard eq.

k just checking.
A few seconds one way or the other, I'm sure Porsche wouldn't have said anything, but given their driver is relatively decent (we'll assume so since he didn't crash the GT2), 25 seconds is a very large gap no matter how you spin it, enough to believe that either Porsche got a bad GTR or Nissan got a very good one.
And how many of them tested them on the ring?

One requires crazy driving, the other crazy degrees.
How is it that the Nissan was faster in all other tests, but not in Porsche's test???

I'm just throwing this out there with all the ringer talk: How many magazines test cars that were bought at the dealership? How many got their car directly from Nissan? I've always thought Nissan was loaning cars that were ringers.
