I got mine through a friend of one of the old members here. I called him Viper Guy but I don't remember if that was his SN or what. i also don't remember the name of the company

the VE30 related to the VG line are really stout motors, i doubt much if anything would be out of spec. you're better off sourcing one locally even if it has 140K/mi.
Noyan has always had quality engines. I've purchased over 20 from them. I only had one that was bad. It was replaced promptly no questions asked.
Lately, they've realized (and JEI has too) the engine importing business isn't what it used to be, and Noyan has redirected their resources to exporting cars to the middle east.

I already sent JEI a PM. I'll check with noyan.
Why are they allowed to be sold as low mileage engines if they really are not? I guess we have no real way of finding out? I really don't care if the engine is a US market engine or a Jap market engine...they come with the same power output, I was just looking the jap route because of the mileage factor.

I agree, but it is not that easy to find a decent one for much less that a supposed lower mile jap engine.
I would try noyan (if they even still sell engines at this point) or JEI
I've had great luck with them both.
Also, it's a myth that most engines from japan are low milage. The truth is the average 10yr old engine has about 100k miles on it. Don't buy into this 30-40k milage thing.

ya ive heard that they are required to pull the motor after 40k or something due to their emissions..sounds like some bs but who knows i dont live in japan haha
thats why you allways buy a motor in a front clip with a untouched odo. i order all my jdm shit from california or florida. you have to pay shipping but if you want the best stuff you need to go to the best people.
