sorry if im thread jacking, but whats the difference between neptune and crome? why would one choose one over the other?
Ease of use and familiarity. It's all just software, so if one package has more features or is easier to use/navigate, and you're already familiar with it, then that's a good choice. As far as tuning, they can both get the job done.

You are over simplifying it a bit. Some tuning software might have a better map resolution, quicker data processing ect ect... No idea as far as these two examples are concerned as I've only dealt with s300. They both may in fact get the job done, but one may get it done with a higher level of precision.
That's all I've been hearing myself and I'm sure he is. I will find out here in a few weeks and I'm pretty excited to get my car tuned and find out what kind of hp it will be putting down.
i was just wondering if you were driving the car to them or trailering it up there, i trailered mine last time but just wondered if it was running already on a different map

oh and shad ftw
I was trying to keep it simple. Ultimately they can all tune stock ECUs, some are more convenient and user friendly than others, like I said. Extra bells and whistles are extra bells and whistles, and usually help the tuner much more than the tune.
I work for an ECU manufacturer, and that being said, I appreciate and understand what you're trying to say.
*And we don't sell direct to aftermarket, so no one ask me..*
