** BNIB ** 42" 1080i LCD $699
nope its not. watch out when something says it supports a certain type. most will say they support 1080i but they won't broadcast it. so yes a tv can be up to 1080i but not able to braodcast it, also watch out for higher millisecond response times. Anything above a 8ms time you may see a ghosting effect when playing games and some dvds. This tv has a 8ms response time which is normal for most higher end tv's but when you start to get into the 1500 buc range some allow a smaller ms response time. On a 8ms response time you won't see any ghosting effects which make it the ideal tv for dvds and games just watch out when the ms hits 16. this is a great price for this tv and size with decent specs, most higher end lcd's don't offer a pc input and two hdmi's unlike this one which makes this tv a great buy at a affordable cost.
OP can you take the stud finder off and make it cheaper? anytime i need to find one i just look in the mirror
