just find out if the turbo hondas in the street class are running light flywheels and if so do the same.
IMO i would get one. you wont loose boost. becuase your comp/turb wheels are still spinning (reson you have a BOV is to prevent compressor surge and in turn keep the wheel spinning)
it will be hard to move the car yes, and coming to a stop will sometimes cause the car to stall but...i think its worth it...you look like an asshole at lights too...

um....just see what the pros are running and adpt that to your car.

speaking from experience i would recomend getting one. it will not make you loose more boost inbetween shifts more than anyother flywheel. that is a function of you bov and driving.

I currently have a 14 pound flywheel, stock is ~19. When my next clutch and flywheel setup goes in it will be with a 9 or 10 pound flywheel.

With a lighter flywheel you will lose some torque. We have 4 bangers they simply don't make torque. Less rotating mass allows more HP. Thats what we are shooting for. Yes it has its downfalls but weigh them with your overall goal and I believe the lightened one will always win.

If you have ever bought lightened or underdriven pulleys or removed powersteering or A/C and you don't agree with this please explain.

How many times are we gonna have this arguement?? They wouldn't make them if they weren't worth their while. Also like dude said above look at what the pros are running.

I'm an orange person and I disagree.

why would you loose torque ??? if your engines making it, it doesn't matter which fly wheel you have it's there except now it easier to put it to the ground. i'm not bashin' you at all but can you please explain.

i had an 8 lb flywheel and turbo, i loved it. In my experience, I BELIEVE IT ATTAINED FULL BOOST QUICKER because FULL BOOST OCCURED AT THE SAME RPM, yet I was reaching that RPM faster! SO GET THE F'ING FLYWHEEL!!!
