Re: Ls crank in a GSR????
Measure the rob bolt size. 9mm is stock gsr rod bolt and 8 mm is stock ls rod bolt. Should have a stamping on the bottom of the rod also. On the rod cap to be exact. pr4 is a ls rod. p72 more than likely a gsr,

Re: Ls crank in a GSR????
I just did this conversion recently...
If you want to use an Ls crank in a Gsr you will have to use Ls rods. You can use either ls, b16, or gsr pistons (gsr pistons will yield a higher compression than the Ls, and b16 pistons will yield higher compression than both the Ls or Gsr.)
If the crankshaft is not knife-edged you will need to either cut the oil squrters at the base, or remove them and block off the holes in the block.
You can use either Ls or Gsr main bearings, but you will have to use Ls rod bearings.

Re: Ls crank in a GSR????
ummm if your going to put an ls crank on a gsr youll have to transfer the ls rods also because of the clearance but if you prefer not listening hehehe you can find out the hardway when you have bent valves
