Out of curiosity has it been attempted?

S2000s have way to short of a wheel base and too tuned of a suspension to just drop some high HP/TQ motor into it. You'll need to change the suspension arms to make the car more stable before you attempt to make it really unsafe.
I say this from people who take S2000s and try and make them drift cars w/o changing anything on them. They're tuned for grip so much so that they have really bad snap oversteer - which is what is going to happen when you give it gas from a LS1 or 2JZ.

We can do it at Quality Auto Group , but i've got alot of winter projects and would not want to start this right now. Oh baby, its going to take alot of time to make it all work, but we can do it. If you are serious, stop on by my shop after thanksgiving.

And why an S2000? Just swap a car smaller, cheaper, and lighter. Don't make an S2000 sound like a truck.
